Eli Goulart & Banda Do Mo Mato

Terrific, criminally under-rated singer and band!! The feature cd titled "Bicho Do Mato" is an outstanding release that features different sounds and styles from Brazil. You have a nice band sound, great tropical feel and some very nice songs. The feature CD is quality - the original to Meu Samba does very little to remind of the Nicola Conte remix - it's just as great, actually a bit better IMO.

If you find this one, definitely pick it up. You can find the cuts Destino and the vinyle "Sunny" on Brazilectro 4 and Brazilectro vol 5, respectively. You can find a remix of Meu Samba on Break & Bossa 5, and a remix of "Destino" on Break & Bossa 6.
