Real Name:
Emmanuel Top
Profile:
No quite a fulltime POF Music member, but definetely more than just a contributing artist, Emmanuel Top is in the move and always there to help promote the French sound around.
Avoiding the media fuss, he prefers to spend his valuable time producing for his labels Attack Records and Triangle and working with Bruno Sanchioni (from Age Of Love), with whom he started his career. His sound is always efficient and essentiel, with few samples and no useless effects.

I don't like admit it but Emmanuel Top has been a major influence to me. When I started going out I'dd hear his tracks everywhere: on the local radio, on various compilations, parties,... So many years later listening to the album 'Release' is like a flashback to me. Altough most of his tracks sound somewhat dated, production wise his releases are still of a very high level.

Top has released tunes like "binary society" and "acidity", who seem to be set up so simply, but aside can be unbelievably important for a techno dj. Sharp basslines and deep flashy sounds repeated over and over again are very common for Top's work. Very important in the European acid-scene!
