Eugene Record (b. December 23, 1940, d. July 22, 2005) was a lead vocalist of a Chicago based soul/funk group The Chi-Lites from 60's to 70's. He wrote and produced many of their hits, but he also produced for other artists.
He released 3 solo albums ("Eugene Record", "Trying to Get to You", "Welcome to My Fantasy") and a disco hit single "Magnetism" in the 70's before re-joining The Chi-Lites again in 1980.
