Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, FC Nond is not only a DJ / Producer but also an architect and urban planner. During the 80s, he dedicated himself to his architectural career, and his love for turntables kept him busy at small parties on the side.
In the 90s, he shifted gears and started working in studios and got really serious on his career as a DJ and producer. His music career became his main focus, and he was able to deliver very different sounds by including his own productions in his sets.
Recognized today as one of the most important DJs and producers in Brazil, his single Re Used is on the popular series LIVE AT ROXY 4 by DJ/Remixer/Producer and Grammy Award Winner Peter Rauhofer.
FC Nonds Kerosene song can be heard on the two time Grammy nominee DJ/Remixer/Producer Tony Morans Tour the Beat new CD.
The track New Love is out on the CD Dance Culture by Tracy Young.
His remix of Danzel Pump It Up was released in the US by Ultra Records and is part of several Dance Music compilations in Europe.
FC Nonds remix of B More Shake by Afrika Bambaataa is on the Queer As Folk Club Babilon CD and "Freedon" CD, mixed by DJ Manny Lehman CD. The B More Shake Max single & 12 vinyl where released by Tommy Boy Silver label and charted ..15 on the Billboard's "Hot Music / Club Play Top 100" in the first weeks of August 2005 and was still featured on the "August 27 week" Top 100 charts (9 weeks total).
