The band was named after the youth division of the German naturist organization Frei Körper Kultur (Free Body Culture) and released their first cassette "Music For Porno" in conjunction with the 1996 Arvikafestival in Sweden. That cassette sold over 450 copies but the (now deleted) follow up "It Takes Atleast Two..." sold less than 20 copies in 1997 and the band was officially disbanded.
FKK Jugend promtly rejoined for a show at the first ever "Swedish Electronic Music Awards" (now "Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards") in 1998 but again disbanded in 1999 only to be reformed a few days later as Diskodiktator.
