Falko Brocksieper is deliciously playful, injecting a deep dose of analog funk into the cologne sound. Equally resplendent at home or on the dancefloor, this music is functionally driving, with a definite melodic sensibility keeping things moving and interesting. Recommended for fans of tech-house in general, micro-house/dub house and the cologne sound in particulr, and those looking for a bridge between the electroclash synth sensibilities and more intellectual dance music.
