Reviews & Discussion

Review by Jun 25, 2006 (edited over 5 years ago)
I have heard certain people say that this is the "Queen of the century"... Far from it my friend. These guys from the States are probably the worst example of Rock music I have ever heard in my life. The lyrics they sing seem unsignable and hard to even figure out, their music videos are as ridicolous as their music. This is defniately NOT the Queen of the century.

Fall Out Boy is perhaps the worst of the 'emo bands' out there. Besides being derivative in style they borrow the worst parts from other contemporaries and create a soup of sound that is just plain crap. The lead singer is indecipherable and that wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for the most boring rhythm section and chord progressions I have ever heard. Other bands lyrics have been indecipherable (REM, Happy Mondays, My Bloody Valentine)but the music was still good. Maybe I am getting older and I just don't get the whole 'emo' thing but why anyone would really like this is beyond me? This band appears to have 2 speeds...stop and please stop! Everyone else has done it better. Go back to work at Subway already your negative 15 seconds of fame are up.
