Reviews & Discussion

Review by Alastis May 10, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
In 10+ years of existence, this little-known German band created a series of consistent, but stylistically different albums. Styles varied from noise to ambient to minimalism. My favorite work of theirs is 1996 Ego Ex Nihil album, which is a conceptual ode to a birth of the child (literally - "something out of nothing"). On other records they explore subjects of sexuality, going as far as using sampled voices of Thai prostitutes. Besides, they also were involved in photography and writing. While they decided to part ways in 1999, to me they still remain one of the best/underrated non-mainstream electronic bands to come out of Germany.
