Floating Point (4)

Floating Point is a synthpop-band from Germany.
In the autumn of 1998, Jörg Grundnig founded Floating Point as solo-project.
He became acquainted with the band Obsc(y)re from Saxony. On the 27th December 1998 was the first entrance as opener for Obsc(y)re with throughout positive feedback from the audience.
A cooperation with Christian Hinske since March 1999 and Claudia Buehring since June 1999 let Floating Point turn from the project to a band. This cooperation finished in the spring 2001 for personal and band-internal reasons.
Jörg then found Marco Lippach in June 2001, and he became a new member of the band. So from that point Floating Point is a duo.
