A teenage noise band from Michigan, Flutter formed around Tim Westfall, Jeff Nauta, Brinton Jones and Drew Avery. The group gigged around their hometown of Grand Rapids, playing at suburban malls and the local zoo to scores of stunned teenagers and restless animals until they recorded a 60-minute demo tape.
Flutter is now the solo noise project of Jeff Nauta. He uses a variety of instrumentation, found sounds, and rigorous editing techniques to create the precisely calculated harsh sounds of Flutter.
