Fractured Transmission

Fractured Transmission was created in early 2004 by Nick Viola as an experimental noise project drawing influences from Merzbow and Imminent Starvation. By mid 2004, moving away from just noise, Fractured Transmission evolved into a more rhythmic and substance filled noise act. Often being nicknamed "the Mono No Aware of Los Angeles," Fractured Transmission has released the e.p. "EP.001. Hard times in the Danger Room"(out of print), tracks for various complilations, most notably, Bunker 54 and Connexion Bizarre presents: You are here: California, as well as the debut full length cd "Rise of the Archetype." Writing has begun on the 2nd full length release.

Nick is also has a main side project called NXV, which is a more down-tempo and abstract electronic project, as well as a project called E/MISSION along side Mekano of EMBODI.

Nick has also become a member of HEX RX, which features Roger Jarvis of Kevorkian Death Cycle.
