Considered one of the historical names of italian electronic music scene, Francesco Zappalà started as dj in the 80s, when he joined at DMC World Championships, who offered him the occasion to present an enviable technique behind the consolle. Francesco Zappalà was one of the first italian dj-producers who introduce the techno music in Italy, with an acclaimed releases like I Need You, We Gotta Do It and No Way Out. Still an icon of italian dj-culture, he is one of the 'heads' of Tractorecords with the friends Francesco Passantino and Giosuè Impellizzeri alias DJ Gio MC-505.
