Freescha is the creative output and friendship of Michael McGroarty and Nick Huntington. Born and raised in Southern California's San Fernando Valley, they've been creating music together since they met in high school.
Freescha is simply the recorded effort to uncover the sounds that reminds us that there are still things and places such as coast lines and hills, and moments not yet tampered by the dull excess of a music industry and it's incessant marketing psychosis.
That comment is tragically ironic after they just produced one of the tracks on the new CD by none other than Britney Spears (!) herself.
I still have massive respect for Freescha and their own output, but I'm really hoping they'll do more tracks like Kid Brother and Radio Heart and less sugary pop like Heaven On Earth. But hey, everybody has to pay their bills, right?
