Fused (sometimes Selected Works) started as a duo composed of DJ's Max Reich and Samuel Malm. Vocalist Petra Hallberg joined them soon after for the release of their first full album, "Audio", from which their singles "Saving Mary" and "Twisted" were taken.

One of those dance music outfits that may not have made much impact in the bigger picture, but are certainly worth digging into if you want to get some quality house music with a funky/disco leaning. In particular dig out the Bob Sinclar remix of Saving Mary, the Cevin Fisher mix of Terror and the Fire Island Saturday Night Mix of This Party Sucks (the Friday night version loses the lyrics). The album itself is predominantly disco/funky-tinged house with some nice chilled out moments but certainly the singles and a tidy bevvy of house masters on remix duty should be enough to warrant at least checking them out... Max Reich has after all gone on the be half of the very capable Shapeshifters duo.
