Reviews & Discussion

Review by FBA987 Nov 23, 2010
Matthew Puffett aka Future Beat Alliance needs little introduction and his modest but mighty discography reflects it. FBA brings back a lost aesthetic to techno utilizing his experienced ear for production and his pursuit for progressing the music with visions of the future. Future Beat Alliance began Producing and releasing records back in 1996 on Void Records, moving to the revered Ferox label and Italy’s Archive label during the late 90’s. The debut Long Player ‘Disconnected’ was released on Amsterdam based Delsin Records in 2000 and since then a string of successful 12”s have come via Emoticon, Versatile, Suicide, Exalt, Recondite and Rush Hour recordings. The latter being home to the release ‘Dark Passenger’ awarded the coveted title of DJ Magazines single of the month. In 2009 Future Beat Alliance debuted his live set at Panorama Bar and Watergate, remixed Danny Howells and Unkle and released an ambient album on Stefan Robbers label Eevonext, this all brings us up to date in late 2010, where Future Beat Alliance has recently signed to the legendry Tresor records and started a monthly resedency at Tresor club in Berlin along side co host Vince Watson . . . much more music coming soon
