The core of Marker's work was with Ry Cooder, Ed Cassidy & Taj Mahal in Risings Sons. The group was signed to Columbia, but only released one single "Candy Man"/"The Devil's Got My Woman", but the group disbanded in 1966. A compilation CD & Cassette was released in 1992, followed by a CD re-issue in 2008 covering material between Sept 9 1965-to disbanding & latter Taj Mahal work. Marker is now retired.
