Gerry & The Pacemakers

Gerry & The Pacemakers

Profile:
Gerry & the Pacemakers were a British rock and roll group prominent during the 1960s. Like The Beatles, they came from Liverpool and were managed by Brian Epstein. The group was comprised of Gerry Marsden, Freddie Marsden, Les Chadwick, and Arthur McMahon (aka Arthur Mack), who was replaced on piano by Les Maguire in 1961. They are the second most successful group from Liverpool to hit the U.S. pop charts behind the Beatles.
