Grip Inc.
was formed by the ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and three other guys under the name Grip in 1993.
They later on changed their name due to a lawsuit from another band called Grip and then went on to record three albums of straightforward thrash metal in the early Machine Head vein before more or less dissolving naturally since the members are involved in other activities.
Lombardo is concentrating on the Fantomas project and Sorychta has been busy producing bands like Tiamat, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil and The Gathering.
The band never really disappeared though and in 2004 they released a new album called "Incorporated".

Gus Chambers passed away on October 13, 2008 at the age of 50. Chambers, who resided in Coventry, England, reportedly took his own life.
