H.A.N.Z. is one of the real house-veterans of the German Rhein-/Ruhr-Area.
The native Dutch man started working as a DJ in 1983, even before House Music was invented . After some successful years in the Netherlands, he moved to Germany, where he started as a resident in the legendary club Königsburg (Krefeld). After a short period of time, he started djing all over Germany. He played in almost all major house clubs in Germany like Destillery (Leipzig), Dockland (Münster), or Tribehouse (Neuss) and international clubs like Pacha & El Divino(Ibiza), Roxy (Amsterdam), Fuse (Brussles), or Pravda (Bern,CH). H.A.N.Z. also played big events like Nature One (three years in a row) and Paradise City.
Next to his excellent DJ-skills, H.A.N.Z. is also a gifted producer. He started putting out tracks like "Hot Shuffle" and "I´ve Got It" on labels like Glitterball Records, Outland Records and Twisted USA. His release "Shake" a happy song with smoothing vocals and a grooving guitar on Clubstar Records, which featured LA Williams, went up to position 19 in the German dance charts and has already become a club classic. His collaboration with DJ Khetama and Howard Donald (Ex-Take that) "Take control" was very succesful in the UK and Spain.
The latest production from H.A.N.Z., as well as the others on Clubstar Records "Daylight", together with DJ 88 Keys was 6 weeks in the UK club charts + in the DJ Magazines hype chart! For H.A.N.Z. music production is not about quantity, but quality.
