Born October 5th, 1952, in Munich (Germany).
Harold Faltermeyer's career began in 1979, he played synthesizer on the Donna Summer Album "Bad Girls," with executive producer Giorgio Moroder. After working with Laura Branigans on her album "Self Control," (1984) he produced the soundtracks of the original motion pictures "Beverly Hills Cop," and "Top Gun," and got 2 Grammys for doing that. "Axel F," (from Beverly Hills Cop o.s.t.) entered the US-charts on position 3 in 1985. In 1990 the Pet Shop Boys engaged him to produce their album "Behaviour." After that there is only the work on a never released album with the german group "Milch." Today he lives in his hometown Munich and has become a successful musical writer.
