Heidi Mortenson is an electronic musician born on the west coast of Jutland, and now living in Berlin. Mortenson's style has been described as tomboytronica and electrosoul dirtyrocking nutechpop. After playing her very first concert, she was selected as artist in residence 2002-03 for the annual experimental LEM Festival in Barcelona. She followed this with a European tour with visual constructor SOLU aka Mia Makela, with whom she later performed the Opening Act of the Transmediale Festival 2004 in Berlin.
