For those not in the know Hi-Gate are international dance guru and Radio 1 DJ, Judge Jules along with long term, chart topping production partner, Paul Masterson.The Jules and Masterson partnership has been ubiquitous in dance music circles over the past few years, between their successful international DJ careers, production and remix work, as well as 6 club hits under the Hi-Gate guise and underground successes under various production aliases. The name "Hi-Gate" occurs as Judge Jules used to live in the suburb of Highgate, north London. It is also a type of filter used in making music.
