A Japanese composer that works heavily with Nintendo of Japan.
Hirokazu Tanaka started out by doing the musical works from the arcade games Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr and Donkey Kong 3. Then for the NES / Famicom era he did the music for the games Wrecking Crew, Urban Champion, Wild Gunman, Duck Hunt, Balloon Fight, Metroid, Kid Icarus, Mother and Dr Mario. He also did the music for the first Gameboy games Tetris and Super Mario Land.
More recently he has been composing music for the Pokemon animated cartoon and a few other NHK kids shows.
