DJ Pierre Hiver vs. DJ M.Hammer

The two faces behind Hiver & Hammer are DJ Pierre Hiver aka Patrick Wintter and DJ Hammer aka Mario Hammer.

The two started their work together in 1997 by creating their music agency called Tune Town Productions.

Pierre Hiver started Djing in 1986 under the name of DJ Spice P.
Before 1997 he had over 30 releases on labels like Frankfurt Beat, Time Unlimited, Global Ambition, Formaldehyde and many more. In 1993 he started his own label called Voodoo Records in cooperation with Under Cover Musicgroup. In 1996 he was named "Best Live Act 1996" at the Film Festival in Cannes.

Mario Hammer also had over 30 releases on labels like EMI Records, Unsubmissive Records, etc. In 1996 he was the man behind the compilation called "Houseverbot". Not like Pierre Hiver, who was a DJ before he started producing. Mario started producing before he became a DJ.

In recent years the two have released a lot of records under different aliases on well-known labels, and remixed some of the biggest artists like Faithless, Kosheen, Jam & Spoon, Lasgo, Gouryella, Armin Van Buuren, 4 Strings and many more.
