South Londoner Julian Cox is Moving Shadow's gentle giant. Signed to the Moving Shadow label Spring 1996, he quickly established himself as a vital force on the roster. He comes to Drum 'n' Bass via a broad apprenticeship - he dabbled with Techno, releasing a collection of LPs and singles as TLM; had a fruitful partnership with vocalist Jonathan Thompson back in the early nineties on a funk-soul-jazz tip; and is an accomplished percussionist and keyboard player.
