Russian based project called Hokkaido was created by Michail Repin and Igor Butskhrikidze in summer 2007. Main styles of music for new project are progressive trance, balearic and various down-tempo sub genres (like ambient, chill out and lounge)

Very first tune (titled 'Summer Wind') of Hokkaido was signed on promising russian label Silk Digital and earlier was picked up by number 1 russian dj for his compilation
