By now missing from the public-eye since his last effort simply titled 'Holger Hiller' (2000), this extraordinary artist produced a number of blueprints equally friendly to the mainstream while staying fairly avant-garde by his principle creative standards. All of his work is fairly recommended - from Palais Schaumburg, through Ohi Ho bang Bang to revolutionary solo albums and collaborations. Comparisons aside, such ingenuity to create from the very easy things in life (like his 1996 Tokyo-story 'Little Present') proves Mr. Hiller a darling member of the world's music visionaries.
