Iammynewt was unleashed in 2002 by solo member Chris Cozort. Shortly after his beginning, Iammynewt was chosen by Invisible Records to be featured on their renowned CD compilation series "Notes From Thee Real Underground Vol. 5." This release opened many doors for Cozort, and his solo effort Iammynewt. Opportunities include remixes for artists such as CEOXiME, Chemlab, Cyanotic, Dismantled, Empty, Endif, In-Fused, Pigface, Rx, Project .44, PTI, SERO.OVERDOSE and The Damage Manual. Iammynewt has also been asked to participate in tribute CDs for music icons The Ramones, and goth favorites Attrition. Iammynewt's sound is a very unique blend of electronic music, and contains no vocals or guitars in any of the tracks.
