Australian a cappella quartet.
The group first formed in 1993 when four friends started singing together for fun. In 1997 they decided to record some of the songs they had learnt. They decided on the name 'The Idea Of North' for this album. Due to the success of the album they decided to start performing professionally.
The group commenced with Trish Delaney-Brown on soprano vocals, Megan Corson on alto, Nick Begbie on tenor and Andrew Piper on bass and vocal percussion. In early 2002 Naomi Crellin replaced Megan Corson on alto vocals.
