Ika Sali

He comes from east of Slovakia from Prešov city. He was born in 1981. He met with the electronic music very soon around his fifteen years. In this time he knew artists like AphexTwin, Plastikman aka Hawtin, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy etc. Thanks to them he knew what will be next way in his life. Inspired by the tracks that he heard, playing and making music by himself became only in the natural progression.

In 1997 he got his first computer and with amateur programs, he began producing his own music. One year on this, he has started to buy a vinyls and play like DJ. With his friends he created first local techno booking Vukow and start organised parties where it was possible. Vukow booking make party until to the present.

In 2002 he got a new powerfull computer and start producing music professionaly. Besides he plays techno like a DJ he also play & producing other his favourite styles of electronic music like: house, minimal, progress, tribal, downbeat, ambient, drumnbass.
Some his works was released on house and downbeat europe netlabels.
For drum’n’bass he has special feeling, then he with talented d’n’b producer Snippah created d’n’b boking Prosac, with which they organised local d’n’b parties. But in his mind techno stay for him the most fascinated style.

In 2005 he became a part of the techno label 773tekno-records(Chicago/USA), where he starts his releasing career, where he cooperating with Tim Xavier, but also he is in touch with other good techno labels and artist. Ika played at the many good parties in his or other countries with famous djs like Takaaki Itoh, Henrik B,Hardcell, Olga/Jozef aka Loktibrada, Echoplex, Rumenige aka Toky, Plus, Supagrupa etc. His sets can by named as minimal and groovy techno, but he very often put there his own original tracks.

In present he always accrediting his DJing and prepares his new releases....
