Infected Mushroom

Profile:
Note: Infected Mushroom, the combatively-rock band that used to move between Punk to Heavy Gothic, began at 1991 and broke up at 1993, was completely different band and people, except for Amit Duvdevani who played with them.

Psy-Trance duo from Israel.

Infected Mushroom is one of the most popular representatives of the Israeli Psy-Trance scene.

Because of their constant musical development, Erez Aizen and Amit Duvdevani were able to gather a huge international fanbase around them.
After the release of their third album "B.P.Empire", they moved away from the established Israeli Psy-Trance sound, giving their music an experimental character.

Infected Mushroom relocated to Los Angeles in early 2006.

Crazy, cheeky, sexy, intense palettes of sound moulded into a soup of psychedelic fairy tales. The heavy aggressive side influenced by the Israeli political and religious conflicts. A fusion of classical structured symphonies, reinforced with heavy guitar and relentless trance beats. Every track is an experience.
Need to be listened on high-end sound equipment to appreciate the full effect of the music. Best tracks include 'Elation Station' 'Jeenge' 'Unbalanced' 'Heavyweight' 'Suleiman' 'Dancing with Kadafi' and 'Eat it raw'

Highest level of music production available today...

Converting Vegeterians was a huge step forward for Infected Mushroom. It was the first album being created in their new studio. (The first three albums have been conceived in the same studio in Tel Aviv) Also, it's the first album that has vocal in it. No album before that one has vocals on any tracks. Now I guess it's common pratice with Infected Mushroom, since with their last album, there is more tracks with vocal than tracks without! Some say it's a bad thing, but personnaly it doesn't bother me much.

Dark full-on psychedelic trance with screaming acid lines and tasteful original classical undertones. Definitely some of the best sound designers and maybe the most innovative psy-trance producers in the last few years. Check out these tracks: Bust a Move, Psycho (live version) & Release Me (but almost all their stuff is really good). Best complete album in my opinion is The Gathering.
