Issa Bagayogo (* 1961) is a musician from Mali, he plays the kamele n'goni (a six-stringed West African instrument) and sings. He maintains the griot tradition of singing about issues such as racial tolerance, regional pride, and drug abuse among youths, but in his own special fusion of native African style music with electronic beats, hence Bagayogo was given the name "Techno Issa", which is now what most Malians call him. For his productions he teams up with keyboarder Yves Wernert.
