Profile:
Jack Smooth (real name Ron Wells) was responsible for the production of many classic UK hardcore records in the early 90's and was the main man behind the Basement, Sound Entity and Smooth Recordings labels. His style of production was very distinctive with his Detroit influenced sounds, and he was certainly one of the main people responsible for the massively popular "jungle techno" sound.
