if any artist has ever deserved being given the attribute "funky", it must be jacknife lee... his first album muy rico is even quite rough at times, with a couple of outstanding tracks like "cookies" and some humorous parts like "toot sweet boogie woogie" - just listen. the second album PRHR is pure happy, funky kitchen-reakbeat-pop, with more inspiration and creative song ideas put in than some artists will ever collect during their lifetime. highly recommended checking out.
