In the late 80's, Jason joined David Gray to form the satanic metalband Salem Orchid (the previous incarnation of Akercocke)
The band fell apart in the early 90's. At this point Jason moved to North London where he gained an interest in purely electronic music.
He slowly moved back into satanic metal sounds around '95/'96 when he met up with David again. Soon after Akercocke was born, which still exists today.
Originator of the infamous VFM parties in the UK.
