The project Jazzkantine, a fusion of Jazz & German Rap was founded by Matthias Lanzer (owner of the label Rap Nation), producer & DJ Ole Sander and bass player & producer Christian Eitner.
Each Album features changing members of the international Jazz scene and the 3 german rappers Aleksey, Cappuccino and Tachiles as well as popular guest-rappers and singers like Smudo (from the german group "Die Fantastischen Vier"), Ol' Dirty Bastard or Kelis Sae (from Incognito).
Their album In Formation also got remixed by artists like Nightmare On Wax or Sofa Surfers.
