Jim Rodford

Jim Rodford

Profile:
Jim Rodford (born 1941) is a British bassplayer who has been playing in several bands over the years. In his early career he was a member of The Bluetones and the Mike Cotton Sound. Although not being a member, he was helping his cousin Rod Argent to form The Zombies in 1964. With the same Rod Argent he formed "Argent" in 1969. The band disintegrated in 1976. In 1978 he joined The Kinks, with whom he played until their last performances in 1996. They never officially split up, but nothing has happened with the band since then.
In the 21st century he is playing in reincarnated versions of The Zombies and The Animals.
