John "Swift" Catalon

Catalon teamed up with Miami producer Clay D as a member of Get Funky Crew, The, acting as the crew's DJ. The trio went on to record some Miami Bass records for a couple of years before Catalon left the group in 1990. Instead of scratching, Catalon focused on production and made a name for himself producing several acts around the country before he made a home for himself in Texas in the mid-1990's. Today John "Swift" continues to make a name for himself as a talented producer in the Houston/Texas/Dirty South hip-hop scene.
