Jon the dentist has an unbelieveable portfolio, having released scores of tunes on such labels as Tidy trax, Sony, EMI Positiva, Nukleuz, ID & T, and his own lables Phoenix Uprising, Platinum and Boscaland.
He practically invented the sound that is now known as hardhouse, (though he is keen to state that when that influence was passed on to the legendary Tony de Vit it was supposed to continue in the vein of hard trance and there would be some music included at some point in the track).
His remix work boasts some stunning name checks including Tiesto, Vincent de Moor, ferry Corsten, Westbam and Tony de Vit. As a DJ he has literally spun all over the world, especially in North America, and the list of countries reads like an episode of wickers world: USA, Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium, Israel, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, Finland, and Germany to name but a few. Some of the more notable events include Mayday, Dance Valley, the Berlin love parade and the massive canadian WEMF festival.
He is just putting the finishing touches to his first musical project in nearly five years and available soon will be the album 'tranquil sea'. It promises a no holes barred trance aural assault in the vein of his fave producers tiesto and the seminal vincent de moor.
