Real Name:Jon Hopkins
Profile:Hailed as a great talent from a young age, Jon started playing the piano when he was five and by the age of twelve was studying piano and composition at the Royal College of Music in London.
His debut album "Opalescent" on the Absolute Zero imprint has received rave reviews around the world and tracks from the album have been featured on major compilations as well as in films, TV and commercials.
But Jon’s talent doesn’t merely lie with his innovative and exciting piano and keyboard ability. He is currently much in demand for his amazing ear producing other people’s work and also his imaginative writing skills as a screen composer. Jon’s recent projects are wide-ranging and have included remixes (under the name Mr Roque) for Frou Frou, Clarksville and Keane. He has toured, played live and worked in the studio with Imogen Heap, Brian Eno, Steve Balsamo and the Dum Dums.
Most recently Jon has been working on a number of remixing and production projects.
