Nödtveidt (born June 28th, 1975 - died somwhere between the 14th and 16th of August, 2006, in Hässelby/Sweden (suicide)) was a Swedish musician.
In 1989 he formed the Death Metal band Dissection which is by many considered as one of the most influential bands in the extreme metal genre's. Between 1997 and 2004 Nödtveidt had to serve a prison term because of felony murder. After his release from prison he reformed Dissection (the band split after Nödtveidt's suicide).
