Jon Solo

Jonathan G. Hansen was born in Ellensburg, Washington. He studied classical piano for fifteen years and competed in local, regional, national and international piano competitions. At Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Hansen found his love for jazz and began a new journey. In just four years he was considered one of the top U.S. jazz pianists at the collegiate level as he was chosen to compete in the Jazz at Juilliard Scholarship Competition. Currently, Hansen works with DMS Country Productions where he produces and writes hip-hop and R &. B. He also freelances in genres including jazz, hammond B-3 organ trio, funk, rock, reggae, drum and bass, and free/experimental jazz in New York City.
