Joy Von Spain

An electronic, vocal, and percussion performer composer, who studied orchestral composition with Donald Erb. She has performed and recorded with The Noisettes (US) and groups 100PIECES, Virgines Vestales, Stabbings, Son of None, and Nasty Hunter. Collaborations include work with Herpes Hideaway, Empty Remains, and Butoh artists Danse Perdue. Composition styles include symphonic, choral, art song & chamber music, electronic. Improvised styles including power electronics, noise, art song, & ambient collage.
