This Vienna based Brazilian lady is one to watch.

On her collaboration with Stereotyp and Edu K on the Man Recordings 12“release „Jece Valadao/Uepa“, Joyce turned heads the world over. With her seductive, yet airy voice, Joyce Muniz rode the ruff beats of Viennas riddim-meister like a vocal pro, excellently contrasting the Brazilian MC heavyweight Edu K. The new release "Rebola/Um Korpo" under the project KU BO - produced by Stereoytp - added to the picture of Joyce Muniz as an outstanding MC and singer.

Born in 1983 in Sao Paulo, Joyce Muniz landed in Vienna in the mid Nineties. Having roots in rock and hip hop Joyce soon connected with the vibrant Viennese electronic music scene.

Aged 16 she purchased her first 1212s to become soon one of Vienna’s youngest female DJs.Shortly after she started Mcing and singing, collaborating with Shanti Roots (Vienna Scientists) and I-Wolf (Sofa Surfers/Klein Rec) on numerous releases.

Her DJ career has led her to various international DJ gigs all across Europe, Asia and Brazil, and she has been spinning with various A-List names of the game. Her sound covers all different styles that make you dance all night long: from sweaty baile funk to exotic tropical tec with a unique touch of her soul.
