Julien Jabré

I agree , Julien Jabre is my favourite Deep House artist . His works with DJ Gregory as "SOHA" are all first class - check "Foulchette" and "Les Enfants Du Bled" , as recent smashes and their classic bass-driven monsters on BASIC from a few years back esp. "Izabelle" for proof . As a solo artist he gets better and better as well . His compilation-album "The Discotheque Of julien Jabre "contains beautiful stuff from the past as well as a great solo release by himself "Deliverance" - check out the limited 2&12" .Very beautiful material , that is a treasure for music lovers - He is also a member of the "Africanism" Circle around Bob Sinclair .Jabre's Trademark sounds are easy to recognize because of the unique bass sounds. Their atmosphere add a special vibe to the mixed "Africanism" compilations. Yellow , Versatile ,Solid = these are labels to watch out for. Since 1997 they are releasing tasty Deep House and Downbeat material - For years my favourite artist from France was I:Cube , who records as "Chateaux Flight" with Julien's partner in crime DJ Gregory as well.These are excellent musicians...
