i read an interview in a free paper... and i suppose it stuck, he's also done a hit song under another pseudonym(spelt correctly? don't think so) and is a DJ under another... apparently its cos he don't wanna be labelled as a 'vocal trance DJ/Producer' or 'whatever'
Personally the white label mix that was going round since (possibly before) sept 2000 of 'The Opera Song' (i remember Judge Jules playing it) is better cos i think the extended vocals that were added lost some of the meaning of the song for me.
As for 'The Theme' what a TUNE!! great trance, a classic in my opinion.
