After a couple of childhood attempts at both the recorder and drums our k.hammer.hansen started playing the bass in 1991, after a while it was soon discovered that not enough noise was emitted from the instrument and a quick change to guitar was reality.
The music played was similar in vein to that of old krautrock-classics like Can, Neu and Faust, newcomers such as Stereolab and Quickspace Supersport and of course the heroin-induced Spacemen 3 and Velvet Underground, i.e. monotone repetitive riffing that could carry on for as long as an hour a track.
Other members of that project were a Boss Dr. Rhythm, a battered beaten-up bass, an Amiga 500, a Moog MG-1, a horde of effects and a Fostex 4-track.
With time the music got more and more electrified and soon the brief flirt with acid house and techno of 1988-1990 bloomed again and so as the direct descendants of the experimental guitar-based material previously appearing from the bedroom, the sounds emerging are now electronic and analogue has been replaced with digital.
