The group arise in 1984 as a trashmetal group. Communist didnt like this kind of group and all members had to visit also the army, thats why Kabát stopped their production for 4 years.
The first album was produced in 1991. The influence of group on Czech rock scene was stronger and stronger and in 10 years they became the most successful rock group in Czech republic
