Kelp is an ambient/IDM/techno/experimental project from the UK begun in 1998 with influences rooted in early acid and techno released by labels such as B12, A.R.T., Djax-Up-Beats, +8 Records, Eevolute, Rephlex and Rising High Records. There is possibly more than one member of the project contributing or collaborating on the music. Currently Kelp is releasing music via Myuzyk Netlabel and (new label from spring ‘08) Balkan Vinyl.
