Apart from their in their great work in dark neurofunk, those Guys are responsible for some of the sickest drum-programming in dnb, check out for example "plan b" on timeless!!
Tracks like the beckoning, gene sequence and fucking hostile have set new standards in this music.

The only problem is, that it seems like they have split up...kemal hasn't released anything recently, and no news from rob data since years. :(

I've gotta hand it to these guys, it's the hardest DnB i've ever heard. Dieselboy really rode on their tracks when he was putting out his albums in '01 and '02, but their integrity as producers remains. I'd use their tracks only if i could spin a mainfloor DnB set. Their music needs and deserves alot more than a crappy tertiary stage setup to fully appreciate it.

Kemal & Rob Data are one of few artists whose material I will buy on sight, alongside with Technical Itch.
Their music has this profound original dark-tech sound it's amazing..
Another thing I love is their drum programming, which always compliments the synth melody; prime example: The Encrypter on Trace presents 23o from vertical on DSCI4.
Sheer genious.

Kemal and Rob Data are pure brazen!
Their style is very distinct and original, a heavy techno influence permeates all of their tunes (not in a bad way!). Many call this TECH-STEP drum n bass, like that of ed rush & optical, but what makes them different is their pure unorthodox sound.
They fuse way-off-the-scale hoover synth sounds with sick bass lines and aggressive off beat stabs, but before it all gets too techno -blend in heavy two-step beats for that rudebwoy rugged feel. The results are a devastating blend of the psychotic with the super controlled. You have been warned this is DANGEROUS!
